What makes SavY special is that we are 100% for youth, by youth -- our executive team consists entirely of student volunteers who are all very passionate about making NZ's youth more financially savvy. To learn a bit more about each team member, just click here!
SavY is generously supported by The University of Auckland Business School and the Bank of New Zealand (BNZ). We are grateful for their continued commitment to both SavY and financial literacy in general.
We have a team of over 40 trained facilitators, all of whom are students from either The University of Auckland or Auckland University of Technology. You may be surprised at how diverse our team is -- we have students from engineering, law, education, science, communications and more; not just business! This is because SavY believes that having good money management skills is something that everyone can relate to, and not just business students!

SavY is a student run charitable trust that seeks to equip young people with good financial habits, regardless of their background and aspirations. We do this by running free financial literacy workshops in high schools across Auckland, Hamilton and Wellington.
In 2015, our trained facilitators (all of whom are current university students) undertook over 360 workshops in approximately 50 different high schools! For more information on our programmes, click here.
Our Core Partners
SavY aims to promote good financial habits in all youth, regardless of their background or aspirations in life. We believe that good financial habits should be promoted alongside other similar life skills currently taught in schools. To learn a bit more about what we do, click here!
